Clear, transparent fee information for families and referrers
N JAY DISABILITY CONSULTANT aims to keep fees transparent, clear, and easy for families to understand. Fees are charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, which set out the rules and maximum prices providers can charge for supports. The NDIS says these rules must be followed, and notes that the most recent update came into effect on 24 November 2025.
For Early Childhood Supports, the main hourly support item commonly used for direct support is 15_005_0118_1_3 – Early Childhood Intervention Professional, with a national price limit of $193.99 per hour under the current published pricing arrangements. The same pricing document also explains that therapy and early childhood provider travel time is charged at 50% of the regular hourly price limit, and that provider travel labour is claimed using the same primary support item with the Provider Travel option rather than a separate standalone 0118 labour item.
As a registered provider across multiple support categories, fees and claiming arrangements may vary depending on the type of support being delivered, the participant's plan, and the applicable NDIS pricing rules. If you are seeking support outside Early Childhood Supports, fee and claiming details will be discussed clearly before services begin.
Where allowed and agreed, additional charges may include provider travel time, provider travel non-labour costs such as kilometres, tolls, or parking, and some non-face-to-face work directly related to the service being provided. Provider travel non-labour costs for Early Childhood Supports may be claimed using 15_799_0118_1_3, including up to $0.99 per kilometre for a provider-owned vehicle.
Some work may happen without the participant being present, where this is part of delivering the agreed support. This may include service-related planning, liaison, documentation, or NDIA-requested reporting where permitted under NDIS rules and where applicable to the service agreement. The NDIS pricing arrangements allow claimable non-face-to-face work where it is directly related to the support being delivered.
The NDIS pricing arrangements include a short-notice cancellation rule of 2 clear business days. Where a cancellation happens within that period, and where the conditions in the pricing rules are met, the agreed fee may still be charged.
Depending on the participant's plan, payment may occur through NDIA-managed funding, plan-managed funding, or self-managed funding. Invoices and payment processes will be explained clearly before supports begin.
Fees, categories, and billing arrangements are always discussed clearly with families before ongoing supports begin. If NDIS pricing arrangements change, fees may also change in line with those updated rules. The NDIS explains that the pricing arrangements set maximum price limits and are updated from time to time.
